ABOUT MIKE
Mike Corcoran is a Bay Area voice actor. He lives in Fairfield, which gives easy access to San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento voice over studios in addition to his professional in-home studio (see above). He has studied voiceover at Seattle Voice Academy and film acting at The Actors Studio of Orange County. Mike views himself as a storyteller, and acting experience is key to telling your story the best way possible.

His life offers a very diversified range of experiences to draw upon to bring your story to life. Like most actors, Mike has some experience waiting tables and bartending during his education. But he’s also a 5-year veteran of the USAF. He served as a medic. If you project involves a military character, Mike can draw upon that experience to offer unique authenticity, whether acting for a video game or reading a commercial voiceover spot to educate on veteran’s benefits.

Following his time in the military, Mike finished his undergraduate education with a focus on history and philosophy before returning to the medical field. He attended veterinary school at the University of Washington and worked as a clinical veterinarian for just over 10 years before shifting to voice acting. His medical background means he’s ideal for any of your medical narration projects.

No matter the script or deadline, Mike prides himself on not only being professional, but being fun to work with. His colleagues and clients can attest to the fact that he has an enjoyable personality.

Most projects can be returned with a 24–48-hour turnaround time in the format of your choice. If you’re interested in remote directed sessions, that can be arranged on Zoom, Skype or Source Connect through a 1G internet connection. Taking direction is Mike’s superpower, so you can rest assured that he’ll listen to what you’re looking for and always do his best to deliver.
